Quarantine Cycles Triptych spread across 1000 public screens in Shibuya and Tokyo

Excerpts from Marjan Moghaddam’s Quarantine Cycles Animated Triptych is exhibited on over 1000 screens as part of the 15 Second Museum from @NeoShibuyaTV in Japan.

The Quarantine Cycles Triptych is exhibited by the 15 Second Museum from @NeoShibuyaTV in Japan and is spread across 1000 public screens in Shibuya and Tokyo. Each artist’s work is on for 15 seconds. Quarantine Cycles Triptych is a 3 part animation that was my contemplation and reflection on the events of the last year, from the Quarantine, to the rise of the virtual, Memetic cascades and rise of the Defi revolution and Web 3.0/Metaverse, an interesting confluence of many strange attractors operating on this dynamic system.

ARTYNFT Interview – Marjan Moghaddam

Read all about Marjan Moghaddam “The Real Icon in the Digital Art world”.

Marjan Moghaddam: With the early Internet, there was a real interest in Computer Art. She had become the featured artist for Prodigy/DOTCOM right after I had done Synaesthesia, the first major computer art gallery exhibition in Soho (NYC’s gallery district back then), with other pioneers like Jaron Lanier (there is a published catalog for this show). But that excitement and energy did not endure, for most of the time since, Digital Art remained the underrepresented medium of the contemporary art market in NY
